The tech and fashion savvy clothing company has come up with the novel idea of transforming Brooklyn neighborhoods into scarf patterns. This is how they do it: ![Wear Your Brooklyn Pride](https://articles.marketsmedia.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/wear-your-brooklyn-pride-950-1.jpg?width=950&height=445&name=wear-your-brooklyn-pride-950-1.jpg) The first step involves shooting a short video of a location in the neighborhood, like DUMBO’s waterfront on a summer day or the colorful shipping containers of Dekalb Market, and processing that video into codes to generate specific patterns. These patterns represent the colors, layers, and textures of the neighborhood, as captured on the video. Not surprisingly, the duo’s background was not in fashion but in interaction, architecture, and urban design. With technology, the brand is able to preserve the rich architecture and history of Brooklyn in a practical, wearable form, allowing Brooklynites to own a piece of their neighborhood.
