Buy-side conversations on custom, global multi-asset systems have turned into initiatives. It feels like their senior management has recognized that technology is not just the answer to cutting costs, but it's the only path to gain a measurable advantage in this complex market structure.
What are your expectations for the duration of 2014?
Faster adoption of multi-asset EMSs as firms see their peers succeed in implementing them. Institutions have realized that a killer feature is not enough; they need to deliver a killer workflow.
