Style Analytics Launches Managed Services Solution

Style Analytics, the market leader in factor style analysis for investment professionals, today announced the launch of a Managed Services solution for qualified asset owners, called “Factors as a Service,” providing full support for data management and the building of factor style reports.

Asset Owners are increasingly looking at factor exposures as an integral part of their due diligence, manager selection and monitoring processes and Style Analytics’ factor reporting gives asset owners the ability to do so in all stages of these processes. Factors explain the sources of a fund’s returns and risk and are increasingly used by asset managers and asset owners around the world to design and manage portfolios. This new offering will make it simpler and easier for smaller asset owners to benefit from the deep insights possible through the use of a factor lens.

Factors as a Service will enable smaller asset owners to focus on making better investment decisions by taking away time and resource consuming tasks of managing the input of data and running reports. Importantly, expert interpretation of the analysis is part of the service. Factors as a Service will provide detailed yet easy-to-read visual reports showing the factor tilts of markets, peer groups and individual portfolios. Clients will also be able to see traditional and ESG factor exposures of any single or multi-fund equity portfolio.

Sebastien Roussotte, CEO of Style Analytics, commented, "Factors as a Service is particularly unique as it provides asset owners full insights into portfolios, including 'what-if' scenarios and correlations between different funds, which are vital in manager monitoring and selection. We worked with many of our existing clients to ensure that our new service covers all of the steps that smaller asset owners would normally have to do themselves, allowing them to receive the full benefit of our analyses without adding any internal workflow.”
