Recognising the best in-house and private practices across a range of industry sectors, the awards are based on comprehensive research into the UK legal market over a 12-month period, including feedback from more than 70,000 interviews. Led by Jonathan Waltho, Group General Counsel at Fidessa, the team was recognised for the critical role it plays in maintaining the market position that Fidessa currently enjoys in the fintech sector. As well as managing the firm’s requirements in terms of the ongoing regulatory agenda and supporting new product launches, the team has made significant strides on cyber security and data privacy, essential in supporting not only Fidessa’s own business but that of its customers too. “We are delighted to be recognised with this award,” Waltho commented. “At Fidessa we pride ourselves on achieving the very highest standards and this is a great accolade, recognising as it does the team’s hard work and skill.
