Eurobank Equities chose Horizon’s Platform for Automated Trading for click trading, market making and agency trading on the Athens Exchange. It is the second Greek broker to go live with Horizon as a replacement for its legacy system.   Horizon’s trading platform will enable Eurobank Equities to perform market making for stocks, stock options and stock futures as well as index futures and options. The traders at Eurobank Equities will use Horizon to hedge, create trading strategies and monitor the market. The platform will also be used for real-time market data and to execute transactions on the Helex market through native connectivity.   Alexis Chryssochoides, General Manager, Head of Trading and Product Development at Eurobank Equities, said: “Not only is Horizon Software able to provide all the features we need, it also gives us the tools to tailor the platform to our needs. The trading platform has impressive functionality and comes with an extensive array of innovative tools. Its scalability will allow us to extend our market making activities as and when needed.
