Domingo Alonso, Managing Director, has joined the firm in Atlanta, strengthening its offering in the region. Mr. Alonso has nearly 40 years of experience in the industry. Prior to BTIG, he spent over a decade as a Managing Director of Institutional Equities at FBR Capital Markets. Previously, Mr. Alonso acted in a similar role at Cowen and Company for 25 years. “Domingo will be instrumental in further solidifying our footprint in the U.S. institutional equities business,” said **Richard J. Blank, Jr., Managing Director and Head of Global Equities, at BTIG.** “While leveraging his extensive network of solid industry relationships, he will help deepen our bench of professionals sourcing valuable, natural liquidity on behalf of clients.” BTIG’s equity business continues to gain momentum and recognition for the quality of their execution.
